Terms and Conditions

This Service Agreement governing the terms and conditions of your use of BinClean is a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity (“customer”, “you”, “your”), and BinClean (“company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), as an authorized user of such services provided by the company and any of its subsidiaries. 


These Terms and Conditions, together with any operating rules, policies, price schedules, or other supplemental documents expressly incorporated herein by reference and published from time to time by BinClean (collectively, the “Agreement”), constitutes the entire agreement between BinClean and you regarding the cleaning service provided. By using the Service, you confirm your acceptance of, and agree to be bound by, this Agreement.

 

Services


BinClean provides a mobile trash bin cleaning service for both residential and commercial customers. We provide residential and commercial power / surface washing service and residential “BinValet” service. BinValet includes taking trash bin(s) and recycle bin(s) to the curb (includes "lightweight excess trash"), then returning the bins to your garage door or other preferred outdoor area. Residential trash bin cleaning service will be performed and billed as one-time pay, or on a subscription basis. Customer’s credit card will not be charged until the service is complete, with the exception of pre-pay and initial service subscription.


BinClean does not guarantee a 100% clean bin, free of all microbes and buildup, or guarantees any specific outcomes or results with our work.


BinClean Responsibilities 


BinClean will clean and sanitize your trash bins as specified in the description of services. If BinClean fails to provide its service on the scheduled day for a reason other than the customer failing to meet its responsibilities listed below, BinClean will promptly arrange for the service to be performed on the next possible opportunity.


We are responsible for the safe and professional use of our own supplies and equipment, and in performing the service on your property.

 

Customer Responsibilities


Trash bin(s) must be easily accessible to service personnel on the scheduled service day.

Trash bin(s) must be free of excessive cooking / motor oils or un-bagged animal waste.


Trash bin(s) must be free of chemicals, lead paint, fresh paint, glue or other adhesive, or hazardous waste of any kind.


Trash bin(s) must be free of building materials, e.g., plaster, stucco, concrete or concrete powder.


You must disclose any harmful substances or hazardous waste in the bin prior to cleaning it. You are responsible for any health or safety issues arising from your trash bin.


To cancel or reschedule a confirmed cleaning, customers must notify BinClean 30 minutes before the cleaning to avoid paying a $15.00 late cancellation charge. Subscription customers who miss a cleaning, may not be serviced until the next billing cycle.  


Charges 


The customer agrees to pay all charges for the service and any applicable taxes. BinClean reserves the right to adjust pricing at any time. Changes in pricing will be communicated to the customer via updates to the website and / or email 7 days before changes occur. It is the customer’s right to choose to continue or discontinue the service at any time. For membership plans, the service will continue on a recurring basis until canceled by the customer. 


Every time you use the service you agree and reaffirm that BinClean is authorized to charge your designated card. Your card issuer’s agreement governs your use of your designated card in connection with BinClean and you must refer to that agreement with respect to your rights and liabilities as a cardholder.


For memberships and recurring charges, you must update your designated credit card using the portal if any one of these changes occur: (a) the account number or expiration date of your designated credit or debit card; (b) your billing address (for the designated credit or debit card); and (c) promptly notify BinClean if your card is canceled (e.g., for loss or theft). If the card cannot be charged, an SMS text and / or email will be sent out as a notification, in order to reattempt at processing or to reschedule the cleaning.

One-time cleanings, prepay, and membership charges are non-refundable, unless canceled before the service.  


Memberships

All memberships are prepaid before the service date, or before the trash bin cleaning is complete. Prepay and membership charges are non-refundable, unless canceled before the service. Annually prepaid memberships are refundable if canceled within the first 30 days, and a charge for the full bin price of the first cleaning will apply.


Customers must have a debit card or credit card stored on file and have accepted automatic future payments.


Customers will be billed on a fixed schedule in accordance with the date of their initial payment, and before the service is rendered. 


The customer is responsible for paying for the service requested regardless of the number of bins present and available for cleaning.


A receipt will be sent to the customer via email after each service.


Service is ongoing until the customer cancels their membership.
 

Cancelation Policy

The customer is free to cancel their membership or one-time service, yet must notify BinClean in a timely manner 30 minutes before their scheduled service time, or prior to our "on the way" email or text, in order to avoid a $15.00 late cancelation fee. 


If your bin is not serviceable due to cracks, defects, or hazardous waste, or if the service cannot be performed due to issues with water access, then a reschedule attempt will be made for your convenience, and if the service is ultimately canceled then you are subject to a late cancelation fee.


BinValet services may be canceled anytime, and are refundable only if canceled before BinClean arrives for bin-to-curb service. 


BinClean reserves the right to cancel or reschedule based on staffing, traffic, weather, or equipment issues, and customer needs. 


Once canceled you must schedule a new service.

Annual memberships can be canceled within the first 30 days, and are refundable with only a charge for the first cleaning.

​Authorizations


The customer agrees to allow BinClean, and / or any of it's employees on the property for the purposes of completing the cleaning services requested. The customer understands that the cleaning service will be completed in the timeframe given during pre-inspection. Due to unforeseen circumstances such as bad weather, the cleaning service may need to be moved to the next available business day. The customer understands that the company will do their best to accommodate for a quick reschedule, yet must work around other scheduled customers and the weather. The company also has permission (if deemed necessary by BinClean) to visit the property with little or no notice to assess service needs prior to the date of service, as well as to check for completion after services have been rendered. 


Customer agrees to allow BinClean to utilize their residential water source via outdoor spigot, which will be turned on and easily accessible on the date of service. You also agree to allow us access to any external outlets for electrical power, in order to use pressure washers or equipment. If on well water, or if in an area with low water pressure or volume, the customer agrees to inform the company and will avoid using any water during the cleaning service. 


If your home's water source is not sufficient for bin cleaning, or if there's been a disruption in your electrical power or utilities, you must inform the company beforehand in order to avoid late cancellation fees or interruptions to service.  


Customer Information


We do not share, sell, trade, or rent customer’s personal identifying information to others. BinClean utilizes data encryption and industry leading PCI compliant credit card information storage through our payment processor.


Content Release & Use      


The customer agrees to allow BinClean to utilize any photos, videos, reviews, or descriptions of the property in the context of advertising for the company. The company will use these photos, videos, reviews or descriptions without any compensation to the customer. You agree to not seek punitive action in a civil court of law regarding the use of the above media. We will not include any sensitive information such as addresses, names, or private information of any kind in our media. The media will be solely used for advertising and training purposes. 


Sanitization and Disinfection

 

The customer understands that BinClean's multi-step process is a great defense against germs and the environments they thrive in, yet that BinClean cannot guarantee the complete elimination of all contagions within, around and on trash bins. BinClean will make all reasonable efforts to sanitize and disinfect to the best of our ability, yet makes no claims to prevent the spread of contagions and diseases. 


Terms Agreement 


BinClean would like all of our customers to understand what to expect from our service. We feel it is important to be fully informed on the services and our expectations. Please fully review and let us know if you have any questions or concerns about any information contained in our agreement. We will require you to verify that you read and understood the terms and conditions agreement before we commence any work.
